FcγRIIa polymorphism in a Polish population

Abstract

We have investigated the FcγRIIa polymorphism in a Polish population. The frequency of FcγRIIa alleles was similar to those obtained in other Caucasian populations. There was no differences in this polymorphism between male and female and depending from age studied subjects. The determination of FcgRIIa polymorphism may have implications for future studies designed to elucidate the relationship between FcγRIIa and diseases susceptibility.
